　Ishigaki City (Mayor: Yoshitaka Nakayama), Euglena Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo / President: Mitsuru Izumo), Jiyugaoka Shopping Street Promotion Association (Setagaya-ku, Tokyo / Chairman: Kazuya Okada), Industrial Efficiency University ( Meguro-ku, Tokyo / President: Minami Miyauchi) signed a cooperation agreement on Thursday, March 3rd.

　Through this industry-academia-government regional collaboration, by taking up the practical issues of Ishigaki City as university classes (hereinafter: PBL = project-based learning), in addition to human resource development through university education, Ishigaki City will be further activated. It is expected to contribute to the conversion. In this cooperation, Euglena Co., Ltd., which has a Production Technology Research Institute in Ishigaki City, advises and supports PBL from the standpoint of a company, and Jiyugaoka Shopping District Promotion Association provides a place for test marketing. Utilizing the resources and information possessed by each of the four parties, we will promote "regional promotion and human resource development" together.
