Invested in "4D Sensor Co., Ltd."
Euglena Investment Co., Ltd.
Euglena Investment Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative: Akihiko Nagata) is a new investment destination for the venture capital fund "Real Tech Fund", and the shape and distortion of objects such as small electronic device parts and large structures. We are pleased to announce that we have invested in 4D Sensor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as 4D Sensor Co., Ltd.), which manufactures equipment that can measure in real time.
In printed matter and digitized images, the periodic striped pattern created by the pixels interfering with each other when regular patterns are superimposed is called moire (interference fringe), and inspection of parts and structures, etc. Measurements using moire are performed to analyze shape, deformation, and strain.
Whereas existing technology requires a stop for a few seconds to a few tens of seconds to measure the shape or strain of an object, 4D Sensor has its own device that can measure in real time. It is a venture company that manufactures by research. With the company's technology, it will be possible to instantly inspect for defects in small electronic device parts, etc., and it will be possible to improve the production efficiency of factories. In addition, it will be easier to measure large structures such as dams and bridges than conventional methods. The technology of 4D Sensor Co., Ltd. has a proven track record of being adopted for the measurement of large structures in the project of NEDO (New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization).
This time, the Real Tech Fund will provide funding by underwriting the shares issued by 4D Sensor through a third-party allotment, and will support the company's research and development, sales and marketing activities.
