Euglena Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, President: Mitsuru Izumo, hereinafter Euglena Co., Ltd.) will open the Leading Venture Plaza (Kanagawa) of the Yokohama New Technology Creation Center from within the University of Tokyo Entrepreneur Plaza on Tuesday, April 1, 2014. We are pleased to inform you that the company's Central Research Institute will be relocated to (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture).
　This relocation will double the research space, improving the research environment and enabling more active research and development. In addition, on December 16, 2013 (Monday), we signed an agreement on "utilization of Euglena" with the RIKEN Center for Sustainable Resource Science, which is located near the leading venture plaza, which is the relocation destination. We plan to promote collaboration and cooperation in research.
　Euglena Co., Ltd. has announced "establishment of bio-jet fuel production technology" as a medium-term management goal. Euglena aims to further promote research and development by improving the research environment and concluding new agreements.
