Report on implementation of capital increase through third-party allotment
-A total of 190 million yen in capital increase from Shimizu Corporation, ANA, Dentsu, and Tokyo Century Leasing-

Euglena Co., Ltd. (Head office: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, President: Mitsuru Izumo), a venture company from the University of Tokyo, made a payment on September 30, 2011, Shimizu Construction Co., Ltd., All Japan Air Transport Co., Ltd., and shares. We implemented a third-party allotment of shares totaling 190 million yen to Dentsu Inc. and Tokyo Century Lease Co., Ltd. The capital after the capital increase will be 460.65 million yen.
The capital increase aims to utilize Midorimushi for << nutrition problems, environmental problems, energy problems >>, etc., and as a joint research partner of environmental purification technology by Midorimushi, investing in the potential of Midorimushi as a commercial material for biojet fuel research As a strategic investment for the handling of finance related to future capital investment and collaboration in the environment and energy fields, we have realized it with the support of each of the four allocated companies.
Taking advantage of the capital increase from each company, we will further accelerate the research and development of bio-jet fuel using Euglena, environment-related technology, food, etc., and aim to build a strategic capital relationship with each allottee company.
