-Used by more than 2 million people annually, the nickname of the sea gateway connecting Ishigaki Island and remote islands will be "Euglena Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal" from Sunday, April 1-

　Euglena Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Mitsuru Izumo) signed an agreement with Ishigaki City, Okinawa Prefecture to acquire the naming rights for "Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal" on Wednesday, February 21st. We are pleased to inform you that we have agreed to change the new nickname to "Euglena The operation under the new nickname is scheduled to start on April 1st (Sun).

　"Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal" is the only terminal port where passenger ships that connect Ishigaki Island, which is the center of the Yaeyama area in Okinawa Prefecture, with remote islands such as Taketomi Island and Iriomote Island _*1. It is used by many tourists from Japan, Taiwan, China, etc., and it is also an important lifeline for residents of the Yaeyama region, with more than 2 million people using it annually.

　Through the acquisition of naming rights for the "Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal", we plan to promote awareness of our company in the Yaeyama area and visitors, as well as to support local activities and improve services for terminal users.
