　Euglena Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, President: Mitsuru Izumo) has a plan to put domestic bio-jet diesel fuel into practical use in Yokohama City. We would like to inform you that we have been certified as a target business of the "Corporate Location Promotion Ordinance)".
　On December 1, 2015, we announced a commercialization plan for domestic biojet diesel fuel for 2020 (hereinafter referred to as "domestic biofuel plan"), and Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. in Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture. We are planning to build a new biojet / diesel fuel production demonstration plant (hereinafter referred to as "biofuel production demonstration plant") at the Keihin Plant. This time, the new design plan of the biofuel production demonstration plant was certified as a target business of the "Corporate Location Promotion Ordinance", so subsidies (12% of the target investment amount) and fixed assets for the investment amount in houses and equipment We are planning to receive support such as reduction of tax and city planning tax.

About the business plan certified by the "Corporate Location Promotion Ordinance" of Yokohama City

■ Office (new): Biofuel production demonstration plant (tentative name)
■ Location: 1-1, Suehiro-cho, Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama-shi, Kanagawa (Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. Keihin Factory)
■ Business purpose: Demonstrate biofuel production using domestic raw materials such as microalgal lipids and non-edible plant lipids, and provide technical know-how necessary for realizing commercial plants.
