Since Euglena succeeded in mass culturing Euglena outdoors for the first time in the world in December 2005, it has expanded its technology and business while building partnerships with many companies and universities. The five companies to be allotted to participate in this third-party allotment are business partners who have newly started collaboration in the energy / environment business and healthcare business since Euglena was listed on the TSE Mothers in 2012. Through the capital tie-up through this third-party allotment, Euglena and the five companies to be allotted will be working on the practical application and future commercialization of biojet diesel fuel by Euglena. Kobashi Industries | In September 2014, we signed a joint research and development agreement on an efficient and stable cultivation method for microalgae, and joint research aimed at establishing a construction method for fuel Euglena cultivation equipment and reducing construction costs using paddy field development technology. In the future, we plan to promote joint research aimed at reducing the production cost of Euglena for fuel, while starting large-scale and trial operation of paddy-type culture equipment. |

We have been studying and discussing the supply and demand, distribution, and sales of manufactured biofuels. We will continue to hold further discussions and surveys, and will start studying the procurement, supply, and use of biofuel raw materials other than microalgae and the sale of products from the demonstration plant toward the start of operations in the first half of 2019. |
